His philosophy when it comes to strength training is to follow an organic and evolving programming scheme. This means that all programs are adaptive to the lifter based on their individual needs (time, equipment, experience, etc..) and over time are adjusted based on performance to which styles (frequency, volume, intensity) have shown the most return on the bar. Whether youre looking to compete or just get healthy and stronger in life, Scott can create a program that will suit your needs and yield the results you’re looking for.

Outside of the gym, Scott is a Reliability Engineer for an aerospace company with over 15 years of experience. His degree is in Mechanical Engineering which he often uses when applying technical analysis of lifts to create the best leverages and maximum performance for each client based on their body proportions. You’ll often hear him say, “shorten the moment arm!” or “more tension equals more muscle units!”

Out of the gym and onto the field

Scott originally got into powerlifting as a means to get better and stronger for slow pitch softball. He's competed at every level for over 10 years. Even though he doesn't play as much as he used to, its still one of his favorite things to do with his friends.
When he's not lifting or working you’ll likely find him smoking delicious meats, playing chess, or shooting an assortment of guns either competitively or just for fun.
